Hi everyone,
I can’t even believe summer vacation is drawing to a close. I go back to school on the 24th – I’d like to take the next week and a half to prepare for classes and to think about the focus/direction of the blog.
Although I won’t be posting during this hiatus, feel free to reach out to me via email or social media!
Thanks,
Brooke H 🙂
Haha, it figures–I just posted for the first time in months, and you’re taking a hiatus! 😉 It sounds like it’s a good idea for you, though–taking time to figure out your direction and to prepare for class will probably be helpful. I can’t believe how close we are to a new semester and the end of summer! I wish you the best of luck as you dive back into the academic world, and I guess I’ll see you when you get back to the blogosphere. 🙂
Taylor Lynn recently posted…Where Have I Been All This Time, Anyway?
I know, right?! So glad you’re back, Taylor!! I really enjoyed reading your latest post about everything you’ve been up to these past few months. Sounds like you’re in a really great place – very exciting about your license and your new job! And I love that you were willing to share your thoughts regarding your writing hiatus. We should definitely chat more about that because I’m dealing with the same thing – I need to honestly think about whether or not I want to be an author anymore. Anyhow, I look forward to what’s to come! Thanks so much for commenting 🙂
Aw, thank you so much–I’m so pleased to hear that you enjoyed my new post! And I think it’s so interesting that you’re in a similar place re: writing; I feel like I’m the only one, sometimes, when I look around the internet at so many of the bloggers I’ve befriended and see them all talking about the stories they’re excited about and the progress they’ve made on their WIPs while I’m over here purposefully NOT writing for the first time I can remember. It was rather encouraging to see your comment and realize I’m not alone! I’d love to discuss it more in-depth with you sometime, too. We should figure out a way to do so. 🙂
