Sting Like a Butterfly

February 28, 2010 by brooke 1 Comment

Sting like a butterfly
float like a bee
run like the water
swim like the wind

go fast
go now
get out of my head

I want to stop thinking
about the things you’ve said

If I forget,
maybe I’ll get some peace
I wish the memory of you
would just leave me.

So go now
go fast
get out of my head

I want to stop thinking
about what is ahead.

You stung like a butterfly
you floated like a bee

have I ever mentioned…
how much you confuse me?

This is just a silly little poem I wrote because…well, I don’t know what possessed me to write it. Enjoy! : )

I love getting those random little urges to write poems for no apparent reason!!! But that’s what makes them unique! I’ve written about stuff that’s never happened to me before…but I just have the inspiration, so I go for it. This is a great poem—you should let whatever possessed you to write this possess you again!! 🙂
